Software Engineer

About the Role

As a Software Engineer at AI Agent Builder, you’ll play a key role in architecting and developing the core platform that enables users to build, customize, and deploy AI-powered agents with ease. You’ll work closely with a small, collaborative team in a fast-paced startup environment, contributing to everything from backend APIs to frontend interfaces, all while solving complex, real-world problems at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable and secure web applications and APIs.
  • Collaborate with product and design teams to develop intuitive user experiences for agent creation and management.
  • Write clean, well-tested, and documented code across the stack (TypeScript, React, Node.js).
  • Participate in code reviews and technical architecture discussions.
  • Contribute to continuous integration and deployment workflows.
  • Research and integrate the latest advancements in AI and LLM tooling to enhance our platform’s capabilities.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Proficiency in modern web development technologies (JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js).
  • Experience building and deploying APIs using REST or GraphQL.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or similar) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Self-starter who thrives in fast-moving, startup environments.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience working with AI/ML libraries or LLMs (OpenAI, LangChain, etc).
  • Familiarity with serverless architectures or edge computing.
  • Background in building developer tools or no-code/low-code platforms.
  • Contributions to open-source projects.
